TI5: Day 1 - Getting There

This year was the year one of my dreams came true: I finally got to attend TI!

Before TI1 was held back in 2011, I never dreamed of seeing the game I love up on big screen, watched by an enormous crowd who all share the same interest with me!

I had a small taste of an international LAN tourney earlier this year at MAS, but that was NOTHING compared to TI.

How did I get to TI5?

Astro Supersport has just launched a new show called Wishlist, and I'm the lucky winner that got to be featured in its pilot!

Basically, they get people to send in their sporting wish - be it football, tennis or Dota - and they will pick a lucky winner to make their wish come true.

:)

So I wrote in to the Dream Team about how much I really wanted to attend TI, and one day they just appeared at my home, with camera crew in tow.

After breaking the news to me, and filming a quick tour around my 'gaming space' (aka bedroom) it was time to pack up and go!

L-R: Emilia (producer), Mark (host), Me, mom, Reem (host), Joe (camera guy and Dota player too!)

Pre-flight selfie

My flight and accommodations were paid for - basically everything was taken care of by the Dream Team (except my shopping, or else they'd go bankrupt by the first episode  :P)

The Flight

We flew EVA air, a Taiwanese airline.

KL - Taipei (5 hours)
Taipei - Seattle (11 hours)

I was quite excited to eat airplane food again because I haven't had any since I was a kid...been flying budget airlines since AirAsia was introduced!

But wow, airplane food is HORRIBLE, sorry to say. I saw the woman next to me have 'chinese porridge' and it was served in the same rectangular tray as every other meal, and she could literally CUT a piece of porridge out and have the rest retain its 'tray shape' wtf D:

Anyway, being the Professional Sleeper that I am, I slept 12 out of the 16 hours on board (now you know my hidden talent ^^).

Arriving in Seattle

I was 8pm when I arrived in Seattle.

The sun sets later in summer, so the sky was still bright! It gets fully dark only after 9pm.

And because this was my Dream Come True, the team went all out to make sure stuff went smoothly - we rode Ubers everywherrrreeeee. No normal taxis for this lady, nope, nuh-uh.

Check out my sweet ride ;)

For the 3 days we were supposed to be there, we stayed at Holiday Inn North, on Aurora Avenue.

The shoes are lying that way because I kicked them off violently, not cause I kia gui ok?!

Look at the sweet bed! The selection (wah fancy) of pillows were labeled 'firm' and 'soft' summore! Also, I got put into a disabled-friendly unit so I had a bench for my bathtub too! Standing up to shower is for scrubs, ok?

Also, some sweet railings to help me get up in case I get light-headed from all the excitement.

Swag Bag

Before we headed out for our first American Supper, I found this on my bed.

SWAG BAG YO!

Left: Tee
Middle (top to bottom): Water bottle, Secret Shop order form, notebook, Sharpie, sticker collection card, TI5 press pass, welcome note, Secret shop catalogue, in-game item redemption card, wristband (I LOST IT ARGH I KEEP LOSING ALL MY WRISTBANDS) and card holder, TI5 suncreen (lol thanks for taking care of our skin, Volvo)
Right: The backpack it came in

Basically, this is the bag of goodies you get with your TI ticket. The Dream Team had it all ready for me to get me all hyped for the event! They were also super thoughtful and got me something to wear for my first day tomorrow :D

And it was the right size! And the design that I wanted - I was only eyeing 2 shirts and this was 1 of them! Also, that's $27 saved to spend on other stuff HOHO HAHA

Supper + The Streets of Seattle

After settling down and filming a haul video of my new TI goodies, we left the hotel in search of supper.

In true angmoh style, everything seems to be closed at night. MAMAKS WHERE ARE YOU?!
It was about 16 degrees out (by my estimate only la), so I wore a hoodie and jeans. It was also drizzling, which made it even more chilly.

Also, did you know that weed is legal in Seattle? I wanted to try some, but I was so exhausted and busy throughout the trip that I didn't get to :'( I even googled and they had this huge weed emporium downtown and all...

Oh well, another time!

Anyway, after wandering around and finding nothing open but drive-through fast food (and no you cannot walk through a drive-through - we tried), we finally asked for directions and was pointed to Sharis, an American-style bakery/diner.

Look at all dem pies.

To be honest, I didn't find the food here very good. The bacon and ham in my sandwich was cold and soggy, and the bread was hard to bite through :/

BUT.

Whatcha lookin' at, Mark?

THEY HAD THESE!

You know all the pies in the first pic? They blend them down and add ice cream to turn them into... *drum roll* ....PIE SHAKES!

Got yummy-back guarantee summore leh! (Luckily they didn't have these on their food, or they wouldn't make any money)

But seriously, you just cannot find cheap and good milkshakes in Malaysia. These were good enough to be a meal in itself.

I got the s'mores-flavoured one. I don't really know what s'mores are, but I know Americans roast them over campfires and they involve biscuits and marshmallows.

Tummy Full, Body Ready

Anyway, after eating our fill and making the long trek back to our hotel, it was time to sleep and prepare for my first day at TI5!

I actually got there on the night of 5th August Seattle time, so I would technically be attending the 4th day of TI, but whatever! I was as excited as I would be if it were Day 1!

Day 1...or 4, let's go!
[To be continued]

A little story from today

Team was doing horribly from the start and my teammates were at each other's throats, playing the blame game and the usual shenanigans.

After another catastrophic team fight, my 0-7 teammate got REALLY fed up.

'Gg noob allies. Game is going to be so hard.'

My first inclination was to tell him to stfu and stop feeding...but what was the point of adding fuel to the fire? So I just told him:

'Game is already hard man. But you're in solo queue, and that means you just have to try your best to win.'

And to my surprise, he immediately replied:

'Hey man, I'm really sorry about being rude. I just lost 6 games in a row.'
😢

Then I was like np, shit happens dude. We've all been there.
Then, with our newly formed friendship, we turned the game around, made a huge comeback and won the game!

...NOT.

Instead, I dced immediately after our heartwarming conversation and couldn't reconnect for the rest of the game because 15million couldn't buy Volvo better servers. The end.

When Your Body Decides To Be An Asshole

So last week I was on MC from Wednesday to Friday. It was a dramatic 3 days spent in and out of clinics and hospitals, trying to diagnose a problem that was too broad to fit any diagnosis.

In the 2 weeks leading up to it, I started having difficulties drawing a full breath, heart palpitations, dizziness and fatigue. On top of that, I had sharp, piercing pains that appeared in random spots around my body and vanished within seconds.

All in all, pretty mysterious symptoms.

However, I had gut feeling that it may have been a small blood clot, which fit the symptoms and was fully plausible as I had recently started the contraceptive pill again, which carries blood clots as a side effect.

I started panicking as I was due to fly to Melbourne in 1.5 weeks and I didn't want to die from deep vein thrombosis on the plane ride there (come on la I waited for this holiday for more than a year, at least die on the way back can?)

Day -1

On Tuesday night, my right palm swelled up, started pounding and became red and warm to the touch. The pain was quite bad but tolerable.

Tolerable enough to play Sniper that night, anyway. hoho haha

Day 1

So, anyway on Wednesday I took the day off and raised my concerns to the company panel doctor who was extremely sarcastic and filled my referral with " " marks and basically implied that I was whining about nothing.

That was bad enough, but she insisted that she couldn't refer me to a relevant doctor or even a path lab, and that I had to go back to my gynae who prescribed me the pills (???)

So after a very rude and traumatic phone call where the gynae's receptionist yelled at me for not having an appointment, off to gynae I went.

The gynae was equally unhelpful, brushing off any concerns I had with the pill, which was fine, until she latched on to a comment my mother made about my diet, and insisted on diagnosing me with Hyperthyroidism, which didn't even fit my symptoms. She just cherry-picked the few that supported her theory that my horrible lifestyle was slowly killing me, despite the fact that even if I had Hyperthyroidism, it was probably hereditary (half my family has it). AND she ignored my main complaint, which was aches, pains and weakness mainly in my limbs.

So blablabla, she tapped my elbow and instantly declared that because I was so skinny from my junk food addiction (? ikr,) it was impossible to find a vein, so she had to draw blood from the back of my hand which hurt like a motherfucker although she used a fine needle.

THEN, I had to sit through a 10 minute lecture on my horrible life choices which included skipping breakfast (I don't), living off fried food only (I don't), and not eating vegetables (okay I really don't).

So anyway that's all I did on Day 1, which made me quite upset because all I did the entire day was get yelled and lectured at, and I felt I was nowhere near solving my problem.

However, the dissatisfaction did nothing to prepare me for the pain that came that night.

My right arm and leg were feeling increasingly weak and tingly when I went to bed, but I managed to fall asleep.

I woke 2 hours later with a horrible, burning and pulsating pain that ran from my right chest to the fingertips of my right hand. I don't even know how to describe it.

It felt kind of like when you've slept on your arm and cut off your circulation, and it feels a little tingly when you move.

Add on a slow, rolling pain that alternated between a fiery burn and an icy chill that intensified whenever I moved. I was in complete agony.

When I stood up to go to the bathroom to wash the snot off my tear-soaked face, a sharp pain shot through my left calf, but I tried my best to ignore it and go back to sleep.

I slept very little that night.

Day 2

After raging and crying the entire night before, I woke to a mild throbbing pain in my arm. My mom called the gynae to tell her that my 'pain' had grown into 'severe fucking unbearable pain' overnight.

THEN the gynae conceded and said 'oh, pain? Can't be thyroid problems then.'

I was like OH MY FUCKING GOD HOLY SHIT I came to see for PAIN and you tell me it's my fucking thyroid, and now you say that 'OH YOU HAVE PAIN, IT CAN'T BE YOUR THYROID?'

Were you even fucking listening to me yesterday? Or were you too focused on extolling the virtues of juicing?

So anyway, she said she couldn't help me (after charging me more than 300 bucks for a useless diagnosis and unjustified pain for a useless blood test).

I don't know why the fuck people love to dismiss me when I say I'm in pain. Do you really think I'm making it up? I have a fucking high pain tolerance, and if I say I'm in pain, YOU'D BETTER FUCKING BELIEVE IT.

  1. I tore a chunk of flesh off my hip in a bike accident and I watched them clean the open wound with alcohol, strings of flesh hanging out and all.
  2. I had my wrist cut open to take out an enormous ganglion cyst, and I never ate a single painkiller through the entire recovery process. I even went back to work the next day.
  3. I used to tear open closed piercings with my earrings because I was too lazy to have them re-pierced.

And only when I'm rolling on the ground crying you will believe me that I'm actually in pain. >_> Shouldn't my word be enough? Listen to your fucking patients man.

Some of us already have a hard enough time coming to the doctor in fear of getting our concerns dismissed and scoffed at, yet doctors seem to do this all the time.

Anyway, I went to another panel doctor who was very nice and listened to me from start to end without judging me, and agreed to run a full blood test.

She referred me to an orthopaedic surgeon, as she suspected that my spine may be pinching a nerve (I have very mild scoliosis which I had physiotherapy before).

I didn't think that was it, but it was better than listening to people telling me that I should really drink juice for breakfast.

(By the way, the nurse spent less than 1 minute locating the vein in the crook of my elbow, and tsktsk-ed the handiwork of the gynae, saying that drawing blood from the back of the hand was more painful and highly unnecessary. UGH.)

Day 3

I woke up with 0 pain, only a residual tingling and weakness in my limbs. I went to see the orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Chin, anyway.

He's my sister's father-in-law.

It's interesting because he treated my mom's and my back before his son and my sister got to know each other.

When I was in secondary school, I had chronic back pain that bothered me to the point of seeking treatment.

I remember seeing another bone doctor before him. I remember waiting in the lobby for 1.5 hours despite having an appointment. I remember him refusing to even read my file. He just took one look at me and said that it's my fault that I was too tall - 'the world wasn't built for tall people like me.'

And apparently that explained my back pain.

Another couple hundred bucks for 5 minutes of sarcasm and completely useless information.

So anyway, I sought a second opinion with Dr. Chin. With just a single glance, you could almost see the lightbulb popping up above his head. He immediately told me to lie down and let him measure my legs.

I was 17 years old when I discovered my left leg was 2 inches longer than my right.

It was my unfortunate asymmetry that caused my scoliosis and resulting back pain, not my gaming habit, which was the conclusion that everyone else had jumped to - doctor or not.

So I think you can understand why I like him a lot. Anyway, this time he told me he couldn't help me since the pain had vanished before he could examine me, and that I shouldn't worry - some people have pain that they never could explain, and it never recurs, leaving as mysteriously as it came.

My body probably fixed itself before doctors could pinpoint the cause.
Thanks body, for destroying the evidence. /eyeroll

He sent me off with a reassurance that his son would be there to treat me in Melbourne (yes my brother-in-law is also a doctor) should my pain return, and that to see him again if it DOES come back.

So there, that's how I spent my 3 days off work - dealing with a mystery ailment that seemed to resolve itself the moment I started hanging around doctors.

Stupid fucking disease/virus probably got scared shitless from all the needles that went into my body.

Yeah, so anyway I just wanted to rant and get this horrible experience off my chest, hence the wall of text. Congrats if you made it this far, you're very patient indeed.

Major All Stars Day 2

Read about Day 1 here!

Hello! We began Day 2 with a new member in our party:
The cili padi BARU REACH 5k solo mmr queen, Chalky-bai!

(She complained that the last post didn't have her at all, so I gave her a super fucking grand intro here la.)

And Sharon returns in her sweat-drenched, freshly Febreezed TA outfit.
*pinches nose*

The events of Day 2 started with Na'Vi on the stage. Sadly, we arrived right after round 1 ended, so all I could get were shots of Dendi's confused face.

So, while waiting for the next game, we went to the Feeding Hall (basically a danky, makeshift dining area with catered food) to hang out.

Aaaand we ran into ddz there. Realizing that although I used to see him so fucking often, we've never really taken a selfie together, so I snapped one for keeps :D

Why hello there, 322-san!

Took a picture with the official cosplayers who were so kind to layan me during their break :D

Then, we met Soo Yee! I only recently got to know her online, so it was a pleasure meeting her in real life for the first time ^_^

Scrubs in the front row, pros in the back
After that, we found out that there would be an autograph session in the outside tent. This was really silly because there was no official announcement, and everyone assumed the sessions were off, due to the fucked up schedule after the Day 1 Disaster.

However, later I found out that we actually missed the IG autograph session that was held earlier in the morning, and I WAS LIKE EUURGGHHH WHYYYYYY QAQ

Anyway, Oling told me that the sessions were, in fact, still ongoing despite the huge delays - the only downside was that we wouldn't find out which team would be there until we queued.

But seeing as this would be one of the few times I'd be meeting international players, I was 100% game for queuing til my feet broke, so I made my way to the tent.

Heard it was to be Rave or NiP signing next...I was super excited to get NiP's autographs in addition to our picture together!

Anyway, the queuing experience was fucking surreal for me, because a whole bunch of people came to ask for my picture again...some were really friendly, and some just quickly snapped a pic and ran the fuck away LOL.

It was quite hilarious actually XD Thank you all again for approaching me! :D

Some smart-ass told me that I should just sit my ass down at the signing tables and entertain the queue...cao ni ma okay.

This is Xiao Loong! I met him every day in the autograph queues. He's even more gung-ho than me LOL
And this fella asked me very seriously if I was 'Cucumber'; I couldn't really tell if he was joking or not.

Anyway after more than an HOUR of standing in the sweltering heat, Rave came in! I was disappointed it wasn't NiP, but I was quite eager to see the Rave players too.

This Sharon wanted to be sassy, so she got all the players to sign her clothes. Yerrr...
Anyway, after that, we headed back into the coolness of the stadium to watch IG play. Chalky is a crazy-mad fan of Burning, and Sharon of Ferrari. I like IG in general, so it was good that we were all rooting for the same team!

Oling translating for ChuaN

Anyway, IG won the match as expected.
I mean how could anyone we were cheering for lose? Right?

But let me tell you hor, these 2 siao zha bor (crazy girls) I was with, they were so noisy that I felt like throwing my shoe at them!

"老公 AHHHHH!"
"好帅 AAAAA!"
"杀他,老公杀!"
"AAAAAAAA! BURNING 哥!"
"你敢杀我的老公?NVM 给你吧!"

Furthermore, we were sitting right behind Empire's manager (IG's then-opponent) and these 2 were cupping their hands around their mouths and shrieking IG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! right into his back.

He actually turned around and glared at them in annoyance, HAHA!

I didn't know whether to feel embarrassed or amused.

But aiya, I'm sure if I were seeing my idol in the flesh for the first time, I'd be as crazy too, so cut them some slack la :P I'm just a hobby player and don't follow the competitive scene, so I was considerably more composed.

UNTIL.

I was snapping the above picture, when Chalky tugged at my arm, jumping up and down, pointing to the side of the stage.

I saw Burning swarmed by a small horde of fans!

Sorry for the shitty quality, it was really dark and the spotlight was blue at the time, so this picture is heavily edited for lighting
I wanted to ask him for an autograph, but he looked like he was going to leave so I thought a picture would be better!

I was like "Burning 哥,我可以跟你拍照吗?!" and he nodded tersely.

He looked a bit stressed to be swarmed by fans, but he forced a smile anyway.

Then, it was Chalky's turn.

The biggest Burning fan I have ever known.

Her hands were shaking SO hard when she tried to take a selfie that the picture came out blurry. I swear she almost cried when she saw it...then she shouted.

"OMG 了,再拍一张!PLEASE! "

And then I swear, Burning started smiling like crazy! Between her crazy shouting and him having to bend almost double (he's almost 2 entire heads taller than her) he must thinking, 'oh god what a bizarre little midget...'

And here's the result!

Look at those smiles!
DAMN CUTE RIGHT! Hahaha I felt happy she got such a nice picture with her 老公

Anyway, she outright SHRIEKED and started jumping up and down and hyperventilating when she saw this picture. He just looked fucking shocked, LOL.

Poor Sharon, Burning hurried off IMMEDIATELY after that scene. CHALKY'S FAULT, RIGHT? HAHAHA

Anyway, you would think mission complete for the day right?

NOPE.

Near the player's private rooms backstage were the toilets.
Chalky and I kept going to the toilet on purpose to see if we could catch any player during their break...and after the last game of the day, WE SAW THEM!

Just chilling in their room!

So we were just standing there, a bit star-struck and wondering if we could go in or not, when we ran into Summer, who was working as part of the crew. She was so nice! She helped us ask the other crew if we were allowed to go in and ask for pictures, and we were given the all clear!

SO WE GOT THIS.

Although I felt super psyched to get this pic, the process was actually really painful and awkward for me.

As soon as we knocked and entered the room, I gave the most uncharacteristically meek bow and said:

"对不起。。。我们可以一起拍照吗?"

AND THEN ALL OF THEM JUST SAT THERE WITH BLACK FACES, STARING AT ME AND NOT MOVING.

What the fuck.

Then after a long silence, a couple of them muttered something in heavily accented Chinese. Then I was like, sorry my Chinese is bad...what did you say?

Then their manager felt sorry for us and told them to get up and take a picture with us.

:/

It was quite depressing really, but the manager was really nice and friendly to us! I think he felt a bit bad that his team was so surly to their fans, even right after a victory.

AND THEN.

Burning saw Chalky and recognized her as that fucking lunatic who screams and bounces around, and he started smiling again!

So well, that was pretty much my experience with IG.

It was really a far cry from NiP, who were so welcoming and friendly to their fans, or even Empire, whose signing session I went for after that.

Lengzai Resolut1on!

People told me that I HAD TO take a picture with him, so I asked and he obliged :D

The super embarrassing part was that as I tried to remove my camera from around my neck for a selfie, I almost choked myself because it was tangled with the access pass hanging around my neck. /facepalm

FML

Anyway, he saw that I was struggling, so he stood up and leaned in really close so I could get a picture! Such a sweet dude :D

I wanted to take a picture with Silent too, but he looked a bit grumpy (they just lost) so I didn't ask.

He's so unphotogenic that I never noticed him before, but OMG he's so fucking pretty in real life...he looks like an elf or something, I'm not kidding.

And with that, we come to the end of Day 2! :D

It was pretty uneventful...and by uneventful, I mean there were no exploding PCs or any other shitstorm of the kind.

The Mineski Events Team did a great job in completely replacing all the electronic equipment after the Day 1 Disaster...everything worked fine and went smoothly on Day 2, so kudos to them!

Day 3 was more...interesting. But I'll save that for the next post. Back to Perfect World now! :D

Major All Stars Day 1

I know I said I would make blogging a habit again, since I'm officially (supposedly) a writer and all, but y'know...life gets in the way.

Life = Work, dota, more dota, etc.

But since today I'm on MC due to having a migraine, I thought I'd take this precious little free time that I have, to blog about my experience at the Major All Stars tournament.

1. It's the first large-scale LAN tournament in Malaysia, so it'd be good to keep memories of it.
2. Sharon blogged about her experience here as well, so I felt super motivated to write and record my own perspective on the event!

DAY 1

We arrived in the morning of Day 1 as CSW's guests - each player gets to bring in 1 guest under the 'Sponsors' tag, so basically Sam, Chalky and I attended the event for free! (Big shoutout to CSW, especially our beloved hottie Adam aka 343!)

Here's what the inside of the venue looked like. Basically the clothed (?) chairs right in the front were the VIP seats, and the plastic chairs behind the red tape were the Gold seats. Regular ticket holders sat on the tiered stadium seating, which IMO was way better than the Gold seats; although they were further from the big screens, they had the privilege of not being blocked by the rows in front, like the floor seating was.

Where did I sit?

As guests of the players, we had the honour of hanging out in the Players Lounge, away from the plebs. /flips hair

(I'm kidding, guys)

Now, what and where is this player's lounge, you may ask.

Do you see those light-up LED cubes in red and blue in between the 2 sections of clothed VIP chairs? Yeap, those are our VVVVIP seats.

And let me tell you, those seats are a FUCKING PAIN IN THE ASS.

Firstly, there was no back to lean back on. Secondly, the screens were way above eye-level for floor seating, so we had to crane our necks backwards just to watch the games. Thirdly, the plastic is super hard on bony asses like mine, and I was so butthurt (hurhur) after a few hours, that we all just left the Player's Lounge to sit on the VIP seats. /eyeroll

This was our view from the Player's Lounge, no zoom.

Anyway, as many of you may have heard, Day 1 of MAS was an absolute fucking disaster. A total of 1.25 games were played before their servers got short-circuited and blew out the entire setup.

O hai there, unable to connect to Steam Network?
If you don't recognize this familiar sight, you obviously don't play enough Dota so GTFO. :P

Here's a picture of Sharon and I attempting to take a selfie in the dimly-lit arena.
With nothing else to do, we just roamed around the venue a bit, munching on overpriced snacks (WTF RM4 for ONE sausage?!).

Anyway, they officially announced that Day 1 was a bust around 4-5pm. Before we departed for the hotel, we saw a small group of people crowding around the back of the Player's Lounge. It was NiP!!!

I've always been a fan of NiP CS, but I didn't really know the Dota 2 crew (besides Era) as they're fairly new. But they looked super friendly and were SUPER layan to the other fans around them, so Sharon and I asked for a picture, which they gladly obliged! Limmp holding my shoulder hurhurrhur

BUT ERA WAS GONE.

Some people told me he fell asleep on some chairs after the ultra-long wait for the games that ended up not happening :/ Anyway, I resolved to find him the next day!

Throughout Day 1, I was really surprised to find that a lot of people wanted to take a picture with me! O__O I knew that I'd run into a couple of people from my stream and Twitter, but there were a whole bunch of you who came up to me also...hen paiseh leh!

Then some of you cheebyes don't know how to reply when I ask who are you/what's your name :( CAN MORE AWKWARD OK!

'You don't know one la!' is not a legit answer!
Don't know also can introduce one ma!

Haha but anyway thank you for saying hi to me :D I had this problem in the past where people would pm me saying 'I saw you the other day but I was scared to say hi'...probably because I suffer from RBF aka Resting Bitch Face.

Also, thanks to those crazy people who let me sign on their mouse pads! What the fuck were y'all thinking letting a random person like me sign next to the likes of Era and Limmp and god knows who else?

But what the heck, thanks for making me feel like a celebrity for a day LOL /taktaupaiseh :D

The bad part of this mouse pad signing thing though hor, was that I was poking my phone when they came up to me, so to grab the pen, I had to put my phone down on the chair next to me.

Then later on, I realized my phone was GONE!

W.T.F.

I was slightly hysterical, jumping up and down and raging + freaking out.

Then I asked kooribunny (that's the dude with the Brewmaster shirt up there) about it, and he said there were some guys who were asking around if anyone lost a phone...and then I calmed down a bit knowing that the people who picked up my phone had no intentions to run off with it (it's not an iPhone ma...no resale value one D':).

The best part was that my phone was malfunctioning so you cannot hear the voice of any person who was calling, AND it had a lock screen so you can't even open it to check my identity!

To cut a long story short, the unknown Good Samaritans handed my phone over to entrance security and that's where I managed to get it back safe and sound. :D

Faith restored in humanity, indeed!

I guess whoever it was doesn't know my page because there was no response :P But I would like to take this chance to thank that person again for being a decent human being ^__^

And that concludes Day 1 of my experience at MAS! I was going to do all 3 days right here in this post, but I realize it's already too long (and I don't have many photos from Day 1 to break it up) so I'll leave Day 2 and 3 for next time!

Also, my ranked match has just started SOOOOOOOO

BYE!

Lol :D
