Excerpts from my first competitive match in CS:GO

Competitive as in the game mode. 2k MMR pubs don't go for competitions.

Opponent: KNIFE THAT PUSSAYYYY!

Me; ?? Whose head just exploded???

Opponent: *sheepish silence*

Me: HA.

*just got MVP for pistol round*

Me (allchat): OMG I GOT A STAR!

Me (teamchat): OMG I just typed to all @@

Teammates: Good job bunnie.

Opponent: Good for you.

Me: Sorry, it's my first time.

Anyway, we won the first match and lost the second one.

I got 2 MVP stars in the second match! But I forgot to screenshot it :(

Oh well. Try harder tomorrow! :D

Hello again, old friend

I haven't written in 4 years, despite it being my passion since I was a kid.

But today I had a long chat with Sharon, with the both of us looking back at our old blog posts and dredging up all kinds of memories from god knows when.

It was enjoyable, to say the least.

And I kind of regret not writing for the past few years. It's a shame that there's a huge void between 2010 and 2014 - although memories are stored in our heads by default, words on ink (or pixels, durrr digital age) do not get muddled over time.

Anyway I decided to pick up the habit again. Writing down thoughts and day-to-day experiences that seem mundane and trivial at first, but become inexplicably hilarious when you're looking back on it 5 years later.

I'll try, anyway. Some days are just too hectic at work, and when I come home, all I want to do is cuddle up to some Dota (Sam claims that I prefer holding the mouse over his hand; that's arguable).

But here's to reviving my very public diary! (I don't know how long it will last - 1 week? 1 year? 1 post?!) But I'LL TRY MY BEST TO BE MOTIVATED TO DO IT OK?

Oh, and before I forget, here's what I look like now (purely for me to look back on 5 years down the road ok? Not being narcissistic or anything.)
